Unique Vintage Carved Stone Tower Beads

We’ve been calling these beads the chess pieces, because they reminded us of a stylized rook. We aren’t sure what stone they are. They might be marble? They come in a light beige to grey to vaguely pinkish color.

These ornaments mostly measure 18mm high and are about 16.5mm wide.
