At HeyBeads!, we specialize in vintage beads, deadstock treasures, curated collections, and unique supplies sourced from around the world. Many of our items are decades old and may show signs of age consistent with their history.
Shipping
Most orders are processed and shipped within 1–3 business days unless otherwise noted in the product listing.
We ship through USPS and other carriers as needed. Delivery times vary based on destination and shipping method selected at checkout.
If you purchase multiple items, we automatically combine shipping whenever possible. In cases where shipping charges significantly exceed the actual cost of shipment, we may refund the difference at our discretion.
Once an order has been shipped, tracking information will be provided when available.
Vintage Bead Condition
Many of the vintage beads we offer were originally packaged and stored during the mid-1900s. It is not uncommon for vintage beads to arrive with a light powder, chalky residue, or packing material on their surface.
This residue is often original to the beads and was historically used to help prevent scratching, chipping, and damage during storage and transport. In our experience, it has helped preserve these vintage treasures for decades.
Unless specifically stated otherwise in the listing, the presence of this residue is considered a normal characteristic of vintage beads and is not considered a defect.
Because many vintage items were manufactured by hand, slight variations in color, size, shape, finish, or condition should be expected and celebrated as part of their unique character.
International Orders
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, fees, or import charges imposed by their country.
Delivery times for international shipments may vary and are outside our control once the package has been accepted by the carrier.
Returns & Refunds
We want you to love your purchase. If there is a problem with your order, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
Returns may be accepted within 30 days of delivery for unused items in their original condition. Because many of our products are vintage, one-of-a-kind, limited quantity, or curated assortments, returns are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item arrived damaged or we made an error with the order.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
Please include photographs of the item and packaging whenever possible so we can quickly resolve the issue.
Depending on the situation, we may offer a replacement, store credit, partial refund, or full refund.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return:
Clearance or final-sale items
Opened bead mixes, curated collections, or assortments that have been altered after delivery
Items that have been used, modified, repackaged, or damaged after delivery
Refund Processing
Once a return is received and inspected, approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
Please allow 5–10 business days for your financial institution to process the refund after it has been issued.
